About the Role
We are looking for a self-driven Production Assistant for BOTH of our locations (Bronx & Ossining NY), and if you are looking for more than just a job, we are looking for you!
WE WILL TEACH YOU EVERYTHING, including how to use the machines! No prior experience is necessary. Common tasks production assistants do:
• Operating top of the line printing equipment
• Operating embroidery machines
• Operating sewing machines
• Shipping & receiving
• Keen attention to detail, and demonstrated customer-service focus
• Organizational skills with a critical eye on deadlines
• Initiate and track status of all fabric/trim/garment development
• Quality assurance
Responsibilities
As a Production Assistant, you will work in a casual and inclusive production-based environment.
Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize, juggle and execute tasks, and deliver results on strict deadlines.
Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet for most of the day and lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis.
Priority is given to candidates with a positive attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team, and with excellent attendance records
