About the Role

The Sales/ Account Associate is a key functional partner who works collaboratively with management, graphic designer, production, and merchandising to bring the best product to our customers.

This role supports and organizes the development of production, sales, and customer service. The candidate will work with other departments to support receiving orders, requesting quotes, and identifying lead times and timelines. In this position, you will be the bridge between the company and the customer.

The ideal candidate is a passionate and highly organized individual who is well versed in the development and sourcing process and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Also have the ability to commute to both of our locations, in the Bronx and in Ossining.

Responsibilities


  •  Ability to process sales orders/ purchase orders

  •  Run/analyze sales reports

  • Support accounts with deliveries

  • Receives and handles requests from customers and distributors for price quotes, purchase orders, order adjustments, and order cancellations

  • Builds rapport with customers and works to ensure they receive excellent service.

  • Uses computer database to retrieve necessary customer information, inventory information, and purchase order status

  • Provides pricing, delivery, and other order information to customers

  • Drafts purchase orders and invoices to submit to the manager

  • Maintains files of active orders and updates with changes to customer accounts or orders

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Confident in a transactional environment– emails, phone calls, chats – and can prioritize work effectively

  •  Plan and implement strategies to identify and create new business and/or new customer opportunities

  •  Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills

  •  Ability to adapt in a dynamic, growing business and desire to generate volume

  • Willing to travel to both of our locations and to sales meetings

  • Performs other related duties, as assign
